Tristel Keeper
Tristel Keeper is a Stabilised Chlorine Dioxide (SCD) product containing 5% (50,000 ppm) of Total Available Chlorine Dioxide (TACD). It is used in seafood processing to eliminate pathogens, extend shelf life and improve quality. Tristel Keeper is ideal for use in water and ice that are used to rinse, wash, thaw, transport and store seafood.
Tristel Keeper is highly effective against Salmonella, E. coli, Listeria and other pathogens of concern. It is non-corrosive at in-use concentrations, is unaffected by water pH, does not ‘chlorinate’, leaves no taste or odour and is the primary replacement for hypochlorite and numerous other disinfectants.
